House arrest tramp tagged to park bench

Judges put a homeless crook under house arrest - at his favourite park bench.

Giuseppe Iadanza, 35, was freed on bail and issued with an electronic tag on the condition that he slept on the bench in Trieste, Italy, between 10pm and 7am.

But thief Giuseppe almost ended up back in jail on his first night when he left the freezing bench to crash out inside a giant turtle in the children's playground.
