Cats is back after 20 years
The world famous Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, "Cats" is back in Austria after 20 years. Some 230,000 tickets went on sale for the production which begins in Vienna in two days and almost half of these have already been sold.

A 70-year-old German grandpa was arrested this week after committing his second bank robbery in Austria. The elderly man was eventually caught after he got lost on local rural roads in his hire car getaway vehicle.

Priest reveals names of church leavers
A priest has named and shamed those of his congregation who left the church last year. A report from Austrian daily newspaper, Österreich has claimed that increasing numbers of bank robberies by international criminals are a result of poor security measures.

British soldier gets mind-controlled prosthesis in Austria
British serviceman, Corporal Andrew Garthwaite has come to Austria to get a mind-controlled bionic arm. The soldier who lost his arm in Afghanistan in September 2010 underwent surgery for the fitting of the hi-tech prosthesis in the AKH university hospital in Vienna yesterday.
