Facebook firstbook
The world's first ever book written by Facebook users is published today (Weds).
Journalist Ivo Scepanovic asked people to post ideas, comments and plot twists on his Facebook wall to create a novel about a woman who uses the social network to get revenge on cyber-bullies.
Scepanovic, from Split, Croatia, said: "We wanted to experiment by creating the book live on Facebook and let traditional book readers get involved in the work's creation. Facebook users' comments can still be read at the end of every chapter, we wanted a kind of crossover between the worlds of print and social media."
The book - "Facebook as a Weapon" - is launched today at the Marko Marulic Library in Split.
