Red Bull PlayStreets 2013 the City slope style contest in Bad Gastein is ready for the 5th annual edition on 23 February.
The Course is ready for the Top-class international starting list with 22 skiers Finals at 8 p.m.
Let’s get it on! Take 10,000 screws, 140 cubic meter of wood, 4,680 cubic meter of snow and 22 members of the international freestyle skiing elite, mix it all together in the centreof the picturesque ski resort of Bad Gastein in the SalzburgerLand, and you get thousands of fans thrilled at the sight of Red Bull PlayStreets on 23 February 2013.

Wood, metal, snow. For two months now the Red Bull PlayStreets 2013 course has been taking shape.
Some 10,000 screws and 140 cubic meter of wood have made a magnificent obstacle-filledcourse through the streets of Bad Gastein, from the iconc hotels of the Salzburgerhof and Villa Orania to the Jägerhäusl restaurant.
Before Saturday, there will be 780 truckfuls of snow with about 4,700 cubic meter of snow, which will be formed with snow blowers and shovels onto a 520-meter long track for 22 freestyle skiing pros – handmade in Bad Gastein, Salzburg, Austria.
After some training, qualifying gets going at 4 p.m. on 23 February. A three-person jury will decide on the top eight freestyle skiers of the day who will contest the grand final at 8 p.m.
Starting field confirmed. A year on since the last city slopestyle contest in Bad Gastein, not only are thousands of fans looking forward to Red Bull PlayStreets 2013 in the very center of the Salzburg winter resort but the international freestyle skiing elite too. The first few participants have got to know the course, and the field is complete. In Austria for a wild ride over roofs and streets on two skis will be: Nick Goepper (US, Gold Medal Winner X-Games, Slopestyle, Aspen 2013), defending
champion Elias Ambühl (CH, 3rd place X-Games, Big Air, Aspen 2013), Charles Gagnier (CAN, 2007 Winner), Bobby Brown (US, multiple X-Games Champion), PK Hunder (NOR), Paddy Graham (UK),Roy Kittler (GER) und Markus Eder (ITA, Freeride World Tour Winner, Courmayeur 2013).
To add to that mix, five Austrian heroes, including Tobi Tritscher – a Styrian who has enjoyed years of success as well as Fabio Studer from Vorarlberg (2nd place on Freeride World Tour, Chamonix 2013) and Salzburg guy Toni Höllwart will be giving their all in front of their home crowd.
Red Bull PlayStreets online & on screen. Making sure the beat goes on around the course will be ‘Die Au’ (Average & Url). The atmosphere at Bad Gastein will be broadcast into living rooms via live stream on www.redbullplaystreets.com. Anyone accessing this site with a mobile device and clicking on the Red Bull MOBILE 2nd Screen can also see live news about the skiers and the points total on their smart phone or tablet as well as vote for the crowd favorite. ServusTV will show all the thrills of Red Bull PlayStreets 2013 on the same evening at 10:30 p.m. in a special two-hour programme.
