Athletes offered world class training in Salzburg

The "Ironman World Championship" triathlon is set to take place on the 13th October in Hawaii.

But closer to home in Fuschl am See in Salzburg potential athletes can join a training-weekend hosted by star athletes.

Trainer of the weekend Brett Sutton has trained many champions so far.

His athletes have won five world championships, 40 Ironman titles and trained Olympic winners such as  Chrissie Wellington, Emma Snowsill, Siri Lindley and Loretta Harrop.

The swiss athlete Nicola Spirig, who won Olympia Gold in London this year, will also be one of the trainers in Fuschl am See this year.

Participants can learn from them during work outs and attend their lectures in the evenings.

Jakob Schmidlechner, the owner of the hotel Mohrenwirt hosting the training-weekend, says that more and more athletes find the perfect training conditions in the Fuschl am See area.

The training weekend takes place from the 29th – 30th September.
