Hundreds of runners competing in next month’s Vienna City Marathon (VCM) are expected to take part in the Prague Marathon set to take place on 9 May.
While VCM organisers expect "significantly more than 30,000 participators" on 18 April, many Austrian and foreign athletes – including the Austrian Times one-man team – have set their sights on the Prague International Marathon.
Competing over the half marathon distance in the VCM is regarded as the perfect opportunity as a final test of form before the big day less than a month later.
