The new ZOOcard at Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna, Austria is offering more discounts and foodie concessions than ever before to its regular visitors. Good value eating and drinking around the world famous attraction, a reduced price on the extension of the annual pass and discounts in the Wild Republic Shop are all features of the new card.
"With this free customer card we want to say a real thank you to our regular guests and to give them the opportunity to make their visits cheaper," explained the zoo's director, Dagmar Schratter.
ZOOcard owners will now pay only 29 Euros instead of 35 Euros when it comes to renewing their annual pass and will get a 10 per cent discount on food and drink in the Kaiserpavillion, the Tyrolean Garden Restaurant and Café Atelier Nonja and five per cent in Landtmann’s Park Café.
Lucky ZOOcard holders will also get a buy one get one free offer at the Smileshop where visitors can take away pictures taken alongside the zoo’s favourite animals. The proceeds of this will go towards supporting the zoo’s species protection project.
The offers on the ZOOcard do not only apply to Schönbrunn Zoo but also extend to partner zoos such as the Haus des Meeres in Vienna, Linz Zoo, Animal World in Herberstein, Adventure World in Mautern and Salzburg Zoo, all of which guarantee discounted entry.
Zoo cards can be requested at Schönbrunn itself or the form can be filled in online at:
