Cirque Nouvel - Regional cuisine and performers reach new heights

The Cirque Nouvel will bring both the culinary and the artistic to Wiener Neustadt in December. The show, put on by the creators of the hugely successful dinner show, Cirque à la Carte, will take place in the high-tech Arena Nova. Visitors can expect a jam-packed evening of spectacular acts as well as regional cuisine from Chef Bernie Rieder, all of which is conducted by ORF’s Thomas Schwarzmann and musical star Maya Hakvoort.

The highlight of the dinner show is expected to be the air acrobatics. Artists appear completely weightless as they dangle by a single piece of silk cloth at dizzying heights above guests. For the first time in Austria five artists will perform in unison, with every routine choreographed to music and accompanied by the internationally renowned Drumatical Theatre on the drums and the haunting vocals of Domino Blue. Audiences will not fail to be amazed by the host of acts as they swoop and dance around the stage in flying cubes and fire shows.

The audience will be further impressed by the regional menu from Bernie Rieder. The meal will begin with a starter of marinated salmon with avocado cream, marinated fennel and green gazpacho with sour cream followed by sour cherry beef shoulder with a white pepper sauce, celery puree and nuts. To top it all off guests will be served a praline mousse with coffee and eggnog foam, and cream cheese and chocolate dumplings with cardamom plums.

Silver category tickets start at 75.90 Euros for adults and include the show and the full menu. The price excludes drinks.

Gold category tickets can be purchased for 97.90 Euros and 67.84 for children for adults including the show, menu and a drinks package (0,75l mineral water, 0,375l bottle of wine or 0,33l Beer)

Diamond category tickets cost 121 Euros. The price includes a seat in the VIP area, a glass of champagne and canapés on arrival and the show with an all-inclusive gala menu and drinks package. The ticket also allows use of VIP parking, VIP reception and cloakroom.

The show begins on 7 December 2011 and runs until 14 January 2012
