Good Charlotte show announced

Good Charlotte will perform in Vienna next year, it has been announced.

The American pop-punk rock band are to play the city’s Gasometer concert hall on 21 January, according to a report by online music and events news magazine Britishrock.cc.

The five-member outfit fronted by twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden are understood to release their fifth studio album "Cardiology" in November.

Good Charlotte won Best Single for "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" at the 2003 Kerrang! Awards before bagging the Best International Group Award at the NRJ Music Awards the next year.

Other eagerly awaited live music highlights are gigs by Brit indie rockers The Wedding Present (Chelsea Vienna, 27 October) and British jazz-rock icons Colosseum (Rockhouse Salzburg, 11 November; Metropol Vienna, 13 November).
