'World Day for Water' events for kids at Vienna zoo this weekend

Orangutan Sol was snapped taking a gulp of water from a bottle while swinging though her enclosure as Vienna’s Schönbrunn Zoo prepares for Monday's "World Day for Water".

Children are invited to visit the zoo this weekend to learn from experts what water means for our daily life in special "Water is Life" (Wasser ist Leben) courses, workshops and lectures.

Kids will face questions like "How much water does an Austrian use a day?" and "Which is the biggest fish in the world?" in quizes taking place across the zoo in Vienna-Hietzing.

Special "Water is Life" activities will take place this Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 5pm.
