Pub-goer leaves child in sub-zero car
A Viennese man is facing child neglect charges after leaving his three-year-old daughter in his car at sub-zero temperatures on Saturday night.
Police said today (Mon) the man admitted having left the child in the vehicle for more than an hour while going to a pub. They added the girl was badly shivering but did not have to be hospitalised.
Passersby informed cops after spotting the sleeping child in the car parked in Stallburggasse in the city centre.
Officials said the man, who is divorced from his wife, had the child for the weekend.
