British Live Art stars hit Vienna

Stars of British Live Art will perform at a Viennese festival for experimental theatre and dance next month.

Five London-based acts, including Gob Squad, have been confirmed for the "Performing the Real" festival by Viennese production company Wiener Brut. The festival will run from 6 to 17 April at the Konzerthaus and the Künstlerhaus.

Wiener Brut bosses said they were cooperating with London’s Chelsea Theatre on events at the festival.

The festival will climax with a creative on-stage battle pitting Viennese and British artists against each other on the last night.

Go to www.brut-wien.at for a full schedule of events and other upcoming projects.
