Figure skating Olympic champ to work with Vienna kids

Olympic Gold figure skater Trixi Schuba will work with kids at Vienna’s "Eistraum" (Ice Dream) skating rink next week.

City officials announced today (Thurs) that children can practice with the 1972 Sapporo Games champion on Tuesday between 2pm and 4pm. Schuba, 59, will work on skating techniques with them and try to reduce their fears of the ice, they added.

The 5,600-square-metre "Eistraum" skating rink is located in front of Vienna’s City Hall. It will be open until 7 March.
