30 Seconds to Mars heading for Austria

Emo rock superstars 30 Seconds to Mars are set to return to Austria.

Bosses at Vienna�s Gasometer concert hall said today (Mon) the trio � fronted by Hollywood superstar Jared Leto � will perform at the venue on 19 March 2010.

This means the band � who scored hits with songs like "A Beautiful Lie" or "From Yesterday" � will return to Austria after playing at the Nova Rock Festival in 2007. Their performance at the Nickelsdorf event was met with mixed reactions by crowds and the press.

The Los Angeles-based group�s first studio album in four years, "This is War", hit shelves last week.

Meanwhile Nova Rock organisers announced Munich�s pop-rock stars Sportfreunde Stiller and controversial Berlin metal band Rammstein will be one of the event�s headliners next year. Around 50 bands will perform at the festival between 11 and 13 June.
