Hunter shot in Salzburg rabbit kill

A 40-year-old hunter was hospitalised after he was shot by a pal as they bagged rabbits in Salzburg’s Flachgau district.

The man from Elixhausen, Salzburg, was blasted by a 70-year-old hunter in the incident on Saturday.

Police said today (Mon) around 50 men had taken part in the rabbit hunt in which 20 of them run around to force rabbits from their hiding places while hunters shoot them.
