Woody Allen to jazz up Vienna

Woody Allen will come to Austria in March to perform with his jazz group, it was announced today (Weds).

The famed film director will play with his "New Orleans Jazz Band" on 24 March 2010 at Vienna’s Stadthalle. Tickets are already available, for example, at www.oeticket.com (phone: +43 1 960 96).

The 73-year-old is a passionate jazz fan and clarinet player. He has played the instrument from the age of 15. These days, he regularly tours with his band.

Woody Allen & his New Orleans Jazz Band have released two CDs: "The Bunk Project" (1993) and the soundtrack of documentary movie "Wild Man Blues" (1998).
