Some 42 austrians purchased doctor of excorcism title
A total of 42 Austrians purchased the title of "Doctor of Exorcism" when it appeared on a discount voucher website. The new academics gained their title for just 39 Euros.
The "Miami Life Development Church" is a USA based organisation, where trading in honorary titles such as doctorates and professorships is not a punishable offence. As such the company have launched a website, entirely in German, to appeal to European demand but still have no website in America itself where it is common practice.
The offer to buy the honorary title of "Doctor of Exorcism" appeared on the Austrian website "deallx.at" which offers products and activities at discounted prices for a limited time only. A total of 42 Austrians reportedly bought the title at its discounted rate.
The cost of a doctorate on the "Miami Life Development Church" website is 150 Euros and 200 Euros to become a professor. There are however around 65 different titles on the website besides that in exorcism, including "Doctor of Gospel Music", "Doctor of immortality" or "Doctor of Feng Shui".
