An Austrian mountain rescuer is recovering after breaking his leg on a climbing trip in Croatia, it has been announced.
The 31-year-old Tyrolean suffered a broken leg in the fall at Velika Paklenica canyon on Sunday, according to a report by the Croatian Times.
A team of Croatian mountain rescuers transported the man to a local hospital where he is recovering.
This incident comes just days after a 14-year-old Austrian boy suffered serious injuries in a five-metre fall while mountain-climbing at Croatia’s Velika Paklenica canyon.
