Drunk injured in bridge fall fleeing from sister

A drunk Tyrolean suffered injuries when he fell into a creek bed – while running away from his worried sister.

The Bad Häring resident, 24, left home around 11pm last night (Sun) after drinking most of the day. His sister followed him shortly afterwards, concerned that in his state he might have an accident.

The woman, 28, said she found her brother staggering along a rural road shortly after leaving home.

But when she tried to help him, he tried running away - and plunged off a bridge.

He was rescued by firemen and hospitalised with undisclosed injuries.
