Incest beast Josef Fritzl has had two prisoners transferred after he became convinced they were plotting to kill him, it has been claimed.
An inmate at the maximum security Stein prison in Krems, Lower Austria – where Fritzl is serving his sentence for rape, false imprisonment, incest and murder – has revealed that the pervert lives like a hermit because he is terrified of other prisoners.
"Fritzl is always scared," the unidentified prisoner told the Kronen Zeitung newspaper. "Two people were even relocated because of him."
The man also said Fritzl was allowed to take walks in the prison courtyard on his own while all other inmates had their 60 minutes of fresh air together. This agreement was made when the 74-year-old was transferred to the jail last year.
Fritzl is serving life after confessing in March 2009 to keeping his daughter Elisabeth as a sex slave in a self-made dungeon for 24 years under the family home in Amstetten, Lower Austria.
He fathered seven children by his daughter and left one son who was born with breathing problems to die.
Prison official Alfred Steinacher dismissed the claims saying: "We are always relocating prisoners, but not because of Fritzl."
Steinacher also said journalists were constantly contacting Fritzl to write books about him.
The news comes just after Fritzl’s sister-in-law revealed he has been begging his family for cash so he can afford special shampoo for his hair transplants.
Christine Ramsauer also claimed Fritzl had plans to study law in a correspondence course.
"He writes letters to his eldest daughter [Ulrike] all the time saying ‘I need 4,000 Euros for this ’ or 'I want to study law’. No-one ever answers him," she said.
