Turkish teenager chained by brother for dating

A Turkish teenager has told police how she was chained up and beaten by her brother when he found out she had been on a date.

The 17-year-old from Vienna-Floridsdorf called police on Saturday after the latest beating form her 22-year-old brother left her bleeding and bruised.

She told officers her brother repeatedly beat her and even chained her p when he found out she had been meeting a boyfriend.

Police said today (Mon) the young woman was considering moving to a women’s shelter.

It has not been announced whether her brother is facing charges.
