Dad jailed for raping daughter

By William Green

A sick dad who raped his seven-year-old daughter has been jailed for eight years.

Feldkirch provincial court in Vorarlberg sentenced the 40-year-old yesterday (Thurs) after it heard how he had raped the girl, now 13, when she was just seven and then then raped her hundreds of times over the next six years.

He was only caught when his daughter finally broke down and told her mum about the sick attacks.

The man had denied raping his daughter in court and said his wife hated him and had convinced their daughter to make up a story about the rapes.
