UN mission white powder was flour

White powder sent in a letter to Austria’s UN mission in New York has been revealed as flour, New York police said yesterday (Weds).

The Austrian, French, German, Uzbekistan and UK missions to the UN all received envelopes on Monday evening containing white powder.

The Russian and Lithuanian missions received similar packages yesterday.

An investigation is underway.
