A 60-year-old Lower Austrian has been arrested after his daughters claimed he molested them for years.
Lower Austrian crime office officials said today (Weds) they had made the arrest after a 40-year-old woman came forward to tell them the man from Melk district – who lived just 40 kilometres from where pervert Josef Fritzl fathered seven children with his sex slave daughter - had sexually abused her and her sister for years.
The married woman claimed he last abused her only three years ago.
Police said the man had admitted to them that he had abused his daughters.
The case has brought comparisons with the ordeal of Elisabeth Fritzl who was kept a sex slave by her father for 24 years just 40 kilometres from Melk.
Fritzl kept Elisabeth, aged 43 today, in a self-built cellar dungeon under the family home in Amstetten where he fathered seven children with her.
He was sentenced to life last March after a court heard how he had allowed one boy to die after he was born with breathing complications.
