Vorarlberg police are hunting a hit and run driver who knocked a teenager off a moped yesterday (Thurs).

The 17-year-old from Lustenau smashed into a lamp post on Schweizerstraße in Dornbirn yesterday afternoon when his bike was clipped by a silver car as it overtook him at about 3:20pm and then sped off.

The teenager was taken to a hospital in Dornbirn where he received out-patient treatment.

Dornbirn police are asking any eye-witnesses to call them at telephone number 059 133 - 814 01 00.
