Kapsch announces third board member

Kapsch TrafficCom AG announced yesterday (Weds) that Andre Laux would become its third board member on 1 April 2010.

Laux, 47, will join CEO Georg Kapsch and COO Erwin Toplak on the board of directors. Laux has been CEO of Kapsch’s Swedish subsidiary Kaplsch TrafficCom AB since February 2008 and been responsible for the firm’s holding company in South Africa.

Laux, a native German, has also been chief of German chip card producer ODS Landis & Gyr in Munich, board chairman of Skidata AG in Salzburg and board chairman of German Winter AG.

The Kapsch Group, which has its headquarters in Vienna, is an internationally operating firm offering information technology and telecommunications services.
