Austrian construction company Strabag SE won two assignments in Saudi Arabia together worth 40 million Euros, it has been announced.
The firm said today (Tues) it will build two warehouses and a coking plant in the industrial port city of Jubail.
Strabag – Austria’s biggest construction company – has been active in the Arabian region through its subsidy DYWIDAG for more than 35 years.
Another major contract the Vienna-based firm headed by Hans Peter Haselsteiner recently won was a 260-million-Euro assignment to build a main road in Poland.
Strabag, which has around 76,000 employees, said last month it would be finished building the 36.5-kilometre-long stretch between Kalsk and Milomlyn by March 2012.
