Low-priced lederhosen on sale at discount Hofer

Austrian supermarket chain Hofer has added a new item to its wide range of cut-price products: lederhosen and dirndls.

The discounter – which belongs to the internation supermarket company Aldi – offers traditional real leather lederhosen for men for 99 Euros and dirndl dresses for 59 Euros from today (Mon).

The chain’s special offer is completed by shoes (between 24 and 39 Euros), vests between 17 and 34 Euros) and boys’ size lederhosen (49 Euros).

The clothes usually cost three times this price or more at traditional custom fashion stores.

All items are expected to be sold out as of today as Hofer’s special non-food offers – ranging from washing machines to flat screen TV sets and bicycles – are usually in great demand.
