Rape Girls Facebook Video

A school photo company that offered to airbrush out children's imperfections to make them more beautiful has has been attacked by parents in Ostersund, Sweden.

The firm offered to edit school snapshots to erase all the youngster's spots and blemishes, just like cover girl models.

Now hundreds of parents have protested about the stunt accusing the firm of trying to airbrush ordinary looking kids out of the picture.

"This is sick in my world, because it involves young children," mother of two Monica Vial told local media.

One of the firm's photographers, Anna Wilhelmsson, has now apologised, saying: "Retouching is a loaded word, and perhaps we should rephrase it."

Rape Girls Facebook Video

(starts)

A 14-year-old rape victim who accidentally posted a harrowing three-minute Facebook video telling how she was raped says she has now decided to leave the clip public to help other sexual assault victims to come forward.

Lovisa Nystrand, from Linkoping, Sweden, had been attacked by a 19-year-old boy who was jailed for two years this week.

She'd originally made the film only for her friends to see to counter claims in court that she'd encouraged the rapist.

But she accidentally made it public - attracting thousands of viewers.

Her Facebook page quickly reached the maximum number of Friends requests and close to 40,000 people watched the shocking film after brave Lovisa decided to leave it open to all Facebook users.

"I am 14 years old. Only 14 years and four months. Something terrible happened to me," says Lovisa on a handwritten note at the start of the clip.

In the film - called How It Happened - she sits facing the camera showing the small scraps of paper she'd used to record her ordeal.

She told local media she'd been swamped by messages of support from other victims.

"A lot of people wrote and said they had been raped but did not dare report it to the police."

"I told them - be strong and do it," she said.

The full text in English is as follows:

Hi my name is Lovisa, I am 14 years old
Just 14 years and 4 months
I have experienced something horrible
From which I will suffer for the rest of my life
"Exactly" the rest of my life.
Just over a month ago I was . . .
Raped.

I remember everything; I cried and was bleeding
It’s the worst thing that I have experienced…
Since then, there have been many sleepless nights…
For a while I couldn’t cope…
I was so weak
Now I am trying to think ahead
Work as hard as I can for everyday to move forward.
I don’t know how people can be so strong…
To report it.

I have been…
Insulted, threatened and yelled at by some...
But how am I coping with all of this?
Well! Because I have my wonderful friends
I love you
And above all, great family.
All of us are strong.
