Sock Sniffer Pervert

An alleged pervert that had been pulling off children's shoes in a local park and sniffing their socks before running off has gone on trial in the Bavarian capital Munich.

Peter Kaiser, 42, denied there was a sexual motive behind the attacks but was prosecuted anyway after CCTV footage showed he had been clearly aroused as he ran away after each incident.

He has denied four sexual abuse charges involving young boys aged between 10 and 14 that had been playing football in the local park.

In some cases he also licked the boys feet.

He told the court: "I wanted to have fun with the kids. I was not turned on. I always asked first if they would would take off their shoes.

"The boys were happy to go along with it, they didn't see a problem, it was just a bit of fun."

Judge Andreas Forstner said: "What you think is a bit of fun, others do not find so funny. Children do not understand and were scared."

The trial will continue on 17th February.
