Sausage Dog Gone
Romanian's Viorel Iordan, 28, and Marian Maturaru, 37, have been accused of feeding dozens of guard dogs on local farms sausages laced with poison so they could come back later and steal cows, chickens and sheep.
Prosecutors in Buzau, in eastern Romania say the pair, who deny the charges, were behind a series of incidents where the dogs had been poisoned before the crooks entered farms to steal animals.
