Pupping Out
A woman who threw a pet dog from a tower block as she partied into the early hours of the morning is facing two years in jail for animal cruelty, say prosecutors in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The party-goer is said to have hurled the pet from the third floor balcony during the all night bash, sending it falling nearly 30ft to the ground below.
"The dog survived without serious injury, but was clearly affected by the incident.
"It was frightened and shy and according to the owner, that's not the dog's normal behaviour," said a Gothenburg police spokesman.
Police confirm that a woman in her 30s is being interviewed over suspected animal cruelty and possession of controlled drugs.
