Spy Anna nude calender

At first glance, it looks like sexy Russian spy Anna Chapman has finally cashed in on her femme fatale appeal by revealing her most sensitive secrets for a steamy nude calender.

This astonishing picture of the spy - deported from the USA on espionage charges - has appeared in Polish news magazine Fakt with claims that the red-headed agent has turned to nude modelling to make ends meet.

"The life of former Russian spy Anna Chapman is not a bed of roses," reads the caption.

"She has had to try new things to maintain the high standard of living she was accustomed to in the U.S. and England.

"In return for an interview with Russian men's magazine Zhara she has agreed to be their Miss May for their 2011 calender."

But on closer inspection, could the picture be a cunning photo fake that her even Kremlin paymasters at the old KGB would have been proud of?

Her head appears to have come from an earlier, more innocent, photo session when she was wearing blue lingerie and while her cover was still relatively intact.

Meanwhile, the rest of the shot seems to be from an anonymous model who has, it seems, more front even than Anna and her sleeper cell comrades.

But today (thurday) there was confusion over whether Anna, 28, might pose nude for the magazine in real life.

Two months ago she was said to have been in touch with Playboy magazine over a 170,000 GBP photoshoot.

"She was very upset when some private nude pictures of her appeared in the media. But she is no prude and if the conditions and price were right I'm sure she would consider it," said one friend in Moscow.
