Cheek of nude hikers

Cheeky nude hikers have set up their first Alpine changing room to spare their blushes from goggle-eyed tourists.

Naturist walkers have been growing in numbers through Swiss and German beauty spots even though they can end up with hefty fines for public indecency.

Now nudists in Ausserrhoden in the Swiss Alps have opened their first official changing facilities.

"First we wanted people to recognise our right to walk as Nature intended man to be. Then we wanted to stop people gawping at us while we are undressing. It's very uncomfortable," said one organiser.

But local law-makers are promising to crack down on the move.

State prosecutor Christian Boetschi said: " Ausserrhoden must not become a naked hikers' Mecca."

The village started to attract nude hikers because of the name - which when translated into English means Testicles Out.
