Record s-mashers

Italian chefs are claiming a new world record after serving up a 2,600 lbs dish of polenta mash.

Cooks in Feltre, Italy, potted the title after taking an entire day to prepare and serve up the dish made of ground cornmeal.

Now officials from Guinness World Records are studying the claim.

"It is a simple, peasant dish but delicious," said one of the cooks.
