Loo art gets a panning

It may get a panning from the critics, but this exhibition of luxury loos is certainly giving the public something to go on.

Artists were asked to turn the humble lavatory into works of art for the show in Florence, Italy.

Some chose to flatter would-be owners with one toilet crafted from a pair of lips that really does kiss the user's backside.

Another was more practical with a loo built into a bench so you don't have to leave the garden to answer a call of nature.

And for those who are always on the go there is one made of an office chair on castors with built-in plumbing and paper.
