A cop killer was snapped when he fled in his victim's car and raced through a speed camera giving police a perfect photograph of his face.
The crook - who stabbed policeman Steffen Meisen, 46, to death in Blochwitz, Germany - then fled on foot after crashing the car and police are still hunting him.
Police say the killer had been lying in wait for his victim as he came home from work and believe he may have held a grudge against the officer.
"The picture couldn't have been better if he'd posed for it," said one officer.
