Not so Smart

A 27-year-old motorist plunged 150ft off a cliff after trying to drive his tiny Smart car over a mountain in Brunnadern, Switzerland.

Rescuers pulled Guenther Muller from the shattered wreckage of the micro motor and helicoptered him to a nearby hospital.

"It would have been a challenge to drive those roads in a jeep or even a snowcat but goodness knows what he thought he was doing in that toy car," said one emergency services worker.

Hospital staff refused to comment on Muller's condition or injuries.
