Herbal undies cure cellulite claim

Organic underwear makers in India claim they have invented the first ever knickers that actually fight cellulite.

Advantage Organic in New Delhi craft the special pants using extracts from healing neem trees, basil leaves and threads of pure silver.

Neem - a type of mahogany known as the Divine Tree in India - has been used for centuries to ease and smooth skin irritations.

The makers claim the combined effect of the herbal ingredients means that wearers will be not only be free of all infections, but that wrinkles and bumps caused by cellulite will be smoothed away too.

Although only available in practical T-shirts and shorts at present, manufacturers are working on new sexier designs for the Western market.

"These garments are very healthy and very practical. They will prevent wrinkling and clear all infections," said company owner Rajiv Rai Sachdev.
