Brit Eurovision ban lifted

British singer David Bryan has been told he can represent Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest after an amazing change of heart by organisers.

David, 24, from Newcastle, was originally banned from the tournament, despite coming first with his song in the selection for the show.

Locals at first said he couldn't represent the country as he wasn't born there.

But now he's been told he can sing his song Come as One for Romania at the final selection for Eurovision later this year.

"I am very happy," said David, who lives in Oradea with his Romanian girlfriend.

"My plan is to start a career in Romania, I don’t want to move back in England and start again at the very beginning.

"This is where everything has happened for me. One day, I’d like to take my music back to England," he added.
