A-maze-ing Asterix.

This a-maze-ing creation has saved a credit crunch-hit farmer from going under.

When the recession began hitting profits, farmer Corinne Ernst converted part of a field of sunflowers into a giant maze showing childen's favourites Asterix and Obelix.

Now she's charging visitors five Euros a head to try it out at the family farm in Utting, Germany.

"We have always been fans of Asterix and Obelix. And we're also selling wine from Gaul as well as a tribute to the pair," said Corinne.
