A desperate
housewife has divorced her husband because he became addicted to
housework.
Lea Moeller, 42, said she was driven mad by his constant
hoovering, ironing and dish washing when he got home from work.
"He spent
his whole time doing housework when he wasn't at work. It went on for 15 years
and I had just had enough," she told a court in Sonerhausen,
Germany.
"The final straw was when I went away on holiday to have a break
from his constant cleaning and when I got back I found he had repainted and
replastered the entire house," she added.
Judge Christian Kropp granted
the divorce after hearing the woman was now blissfully happy after living alone
from her husband Swen for a year and had no desire to be reunited.
