Sex Easter eggs

Easter eggs with images of sexual intercourse will be on display at an exhibition at the Grassi Museum in Leipzig, Germany, from 18 April.

The exhibit will focus on the event of Easter and traditions all over the world.

The dozen kinky eggs are owned by curator Erhard Schwerin, who owns an overall of 1,000 eggs with various designs from all over the world.

He said: "People in Indonesia started painting sex scenes on eggs in the 1920s. The eggs became a hit with tourists in the 1990s."

Eggs with Kama Sutra scenes are also featured in the exhibit.

Schwerin said he was not worried about problems with authorities over the eggs.

"We all would not exist without sex," he said.
