Mole Boy

A five-year-old boy dubbed the human mole is pleading with medics to perform an operation to remove the thick velvet hair that's growing all over his body.

Youngster Dou Dou was born with a small black birthmark on the back of his neck which has steadily grown to cover his back, neck and arm.

Doctors in Beijing, China, say that untreated, the hair - an extreme type of mole - will engulf his entire body.

"He needs a very large skin graft but we are an ordinary family without much money and can't afford the fees. We're just praying someone will help us," said his mother Dou Ling.
