Ramsay ´sick´ claim after India TV abuse
Indian TV viewers are upset with British chef Gordon Ramsay's three-part television series, Gordon's Great Escape, for his alleged racist remarks and liberal usage of the F-word.
Ramsay was seen being rude to Indian chefs and locals, often castigating them for not understanding English.
"***k me, I thought she was dead," Ramsay said while referring to an Indian chef's 90 year-old mother.
India's top chef, Hemant Oberoi, of the Taj Hotel in Mumbai called his remarks "sick," though he admitted Ramsay was not abusive when he visited the hotel.
The channel which aired it got around 116 complaints from all over the world after the first episode.
"Gordon's forgotten how to use any adjectives other than the F-word. Now I know why British tourists have such a bad reputation abroad," Astrid Gibbon, a viewer, wrote.
