Six-year-old falls to his death in Tyrol

By David Rogers

A six-year-old boy was killed when he fell in the mountains near Alpbach, Tyrol, yesterday (Tues) afternoon.

Jacob M. from Alpbach had fallen after he wandered away from a food stand into a steep, rocky area.

His cousin Florian W., who was with him at the time, had also fallen but managed to grab a tree branch and hold on to it until a rescue helicopter team pulled him to safety.
